We're Home

Just to let you know we made it home safe and sound. Jensen did remarkably well on the three flights we had.
Adjusting to home life is going to take some time, of course. He hates his crib. He screams bloody murder when we put him in it. He is so afraid of it for some reason. Needless to say, Mommy and Daddy have not gotten much sleep. The only way he will get any shred of sleep is if he sleeps with us. I know a lot of you out there are against co-sleeping, but it's the only thing that works for us right now. Once he gets used to his surroundings more, we're hoping that he'll sleep by himself.

We Co-slept with sawyer for almost six months. He was also afraid of sleeping in his big boy bed, but now he loves it.

We co-sleep with the Lilster...she hated her crib and screamed when we put her in it too. We put her in bed with us and for the first week she would wake every hour or so crying...she'd see we were there and would put her thumb back in her mouth and go right back to sleep. We put the toddler rale up on one side of her crib and now she loves it. She'll go in it awake and fall asleep with me next to her bed. It takes baby steps but you'll get there. I think the comfort, security, and closeness means so much with helping them adjust.
