Gift

A lot of the adoptive families are aware that when you come to the White Swan Hotel, they give the little girls a White Swan Barbie Doll. We always wondered what the little boys got, if anything. We were out and about today and when we returned to our room there was a nice gift waiting for us on our desk. It was a 5 pack case of Matchbox cars made by Mattel. Mattel sponsors a huge playroom in the White Swan hotel full of all kinds of toys. Here's a picture of Jensen with his new toys.

That's great that they do it for boys too! I am a smidge bummed we will miss out on the Barbie due to the WS renovations, but, Sophie will trump a Barbie by far!
Anyway, back to our star, Jensen, I just adore his little face Val. He is so sweet. I just want to say to him, you get to keep those cars baby, and you don't have to share them either! Hog heaven!
Keeps those posts a-comin'!

Hey! Nathan didn't get matchbox cars -- he got a barbie! I'm glad to see the WS is accomodating all the little boys now!

There is a HUGE park across the street from the China Hotel (there's a Starbuck's in the hotel, too, with WiFi). There's an entry fee, but literally miles of paths to take plus places to rent paddleboats. Wish I knew the name, but the ticket stub we have is still in moving boxes.

Here's the address for the hotel:
Liu Hua Lu
Guangzhou, Guangdong 510015

Maybe it's Yuexiu Park
